LUZ GALLERY : Call for submissions

Here's a good opportunity for photographers from all around the world. The LUZ Gallery has issued an interesting call for submissions looking for photographs representing photography from more than 20 countries. Unlike many of the submission calls I receive, I know these folks and can confidently tell my readers that this gallery is reputable and highly professional.

For those of you looking for a competition to enter your work into, The Erotic Review have launched a what they hope to turn into an annual event. The entry is 25 GBP, and allows you to enter up to 12 works. The top 50 will be published in a book at the end of the year.

Carrie Leigh's NUDE MAGAZINE

Photographer and long time reader Dave Rudin wrote in to tell me about a brand new magazine that has just his the shelves for the first time. The premier issue has an 8 page feature on Dave's work. Way to go Dave!

The magazine looks like it features quality work and interesting articles. I wish it every success, and I hope I can find it in my local shops. If any one wants to buy me an early X-mas present, I'll take a year's subscription!

Even more importantly though, the magazine has an open call for submissions via their website. We all know that print exposure can be hard to come by, so this is an excellent opportunity.

If any of you are looking for an opportunity to submit for an interesting sounding project, I recently received the following note from Kim Taylor, editor of 180 Magazine:

"I'd like to extend an invitation to you and your photographer blog
