Well I'm off to beautiful Gabriola Island for 5 days of badminton, beer, BBQ & bad behaviour at the annual cabin party and Art in the Outhouse exhibition. (Yes, it's an art show in an outhouse.) So no new post for a few days.

In the meantime, I'll leave you with Jan Saudek, one of my all time favourite photographers. In my opinion, he's one of the most interesting living photographers working with the nude. His work alternates between the humourous, the allegorical and the bizarre. His web site is amazing as well. With forty years worth of archived photographs as well as paintings, writing and other features, you should plan on spending some serious time there.

Yahoo! News - Chinese police haul in models, organiser of nude modelling competition

SHANGHAI (AFP) - Police in China's most modern city Shanghai have arrested a group of women and a man accused of organising a nude modelling competition, state press reported.

A manager of a small photography company surnamed Zhou and several models taking part in the show were taken into custody for operating without licenses and violating the country's moral standards.
