There's not a lot of photography on Frank Herholdt's site whose central theme is the figure (although there is some), but nonetheless, I had to post this because I think he has some of the most stunning lighting and art direction I've encountered for years. Nerve - The First Ten Years

Nerve magazine has a little contest going on right now for best fiction and best photographer over the last 10 years. Unfortunately they don't provide full size links to any of the images, but the list is a who's who of the alt erotica/contemporary decadent photography scene.

You can vote for as many people as you want. I voted for Samantha West because I've corresponded with her and she's awfully nice. She is also an Art Nudes reader, she's young, and she could use the $1000 to buy new equipment.
