DELISTED BY GOOGLEWell as of this past Monday, due to this blog being reported as containing "Objectionable Content", I have been delisted by Google.
Up until this point, a google search for "Art Nudes" would result in this blog being the number one search result. In fact, even a search for "nudes" would put this blog at about number 3 or 4. As you can imagine this resulted in hundreds of thousands of visitors finding this site. Many of those readers were the same ones that became regulars and are now reading this post. Unfortunately, now that I'm persona non-grata, a google search for this blog results (bizarrely) in a genuinely offensive site filled with obscene photoshopped pics of a Kurdish politician. Likewise, with a search for "nudes", this blog is nowhere to be found. Over the past week, my daily traffic has plummeted from around 5,000 to only about 2,000. This is a huge blow. For five years, I have been doing this for the love of photography and for the sake of promoting my own and other photographers work. To have that snatched away without warning or opportunity for appeal is really discouraging.
I may stick it out, I may start a new blog, I may just concentrate on my own photography. I welcome suggestions and comments from you readers, but I have to tell you, in light of this recent development, I'm seriously considering calling it quits.
Best regards,
Michael B
