Here's an interesting project blog sent in to me by a pair of fellow Canadian photographers. They describe it in their own words as:
"The Raw Files is a project created by Mclain of 'Swift Images' & Rob of 'twisted figure fotography.' It focuses on the year long exploits of these 2 photographers and the 2 models we chose for the year, as we attempt to create captivating images. The intent is for all 4 of us to share 'behind the scenes' perspectives of photography and modeling."

Vote for Shawn!
You can guess by the photo that this post strays from this blog's normal subject matter, but I hope you'll indulge me.
My buddy Shawn started on an amazing journey of physical transformation 3 just three months ago when he was accepted into a his local newspaper's fitness challenge. Since then he's lost 40 lbs! He's gone from couch potato to triathelete and competed in eleven 5 & 10 KM runs during that time.
Now's the time to vote for the winner, who receives a trip to Mexico. I think Shawn deserves to win. If you are as impressed by his accomplishment as I am, I'd like to ask you all to take a moment to vote for him at the link below.

Voelker Nudes - Christopher Voelker photographer of humans
Los Angeles based photographer Christopher Voelker has been working for 20 years as a studio photographer doing both entertainment photos and fine art nudes. As you can imagine, with a track record like that, his portfolio is very impressive. Another interesting part of his story is that he's managed this successful career from a wheelchair which he's used since a motorcycle accident at 16.
