In response to the recent poll where it was suggested that there is an interest in more discussion on Photoshop and photographic techniques, reader Greg H. wrote in with a question about how photographer Jean Jacques Andre achieved a specific look in one of his photos. Typical Stupid Warning Page
Judging by his web page, photographer Marcus Ranum seems to be someone who'd be a lot of fun to have a beer with. His "Typical Stupid Warning Page" is the first sign that this is a guy with a sense of humour. The work on the site runs from serious and well executed figure studies to the frankly goofy. Enjoy!

The People Have Spoken!
The People Have Spoken!
Thank you to all of you who took the time to respond to the recent surveys. I was surprised, and very pleased to find that a full 78% of the readership of this blog is comprised of photographers. I was also happy to find that only a negligible 4% of people come here for the cheap thrills of seeing some skin. As for the 17% of you that just appreciate photographic art, believe me, we photographers count on you. Keep on visiting!
The high number of photographers also accounts for the interest in additional features such as Photoshop and "how-to" tips. While some of you have asked me just to stick with the photographic postings (You know who you are JJ!) I enjoy a little variety myself, so look for a few more posts on technique, calls for submission and even maybe an occasional more in-depth interview.

I am wondering if someone can help me locate someone.I believe that his name is Jacco Bhetti? I may be misspelling it,most likely I am.I had two prints of his,but they have since been lost in several moves,and I'd like to buy them again,but I'm having a hell of a time finding anything by him.
