Regular readers know I love work that pushes the boundaries of traditional printing, and photography, so I was very happy to find this great work by Michael McCarthy.

"My work in photography, although very diverse, tends to circle around the question of perception. I photograph with a range of different cameras--standard 35 mm SLRs, pinhole cameras, plastic, toy cameras, I use black and white, color and also alternative photo processes like cyanotype, gum bichromate and liquid light. In the end, all these various projects are concerned with the question of how we see and perceive the world."
