I was pleased to receive an email from photographer and fellow blogger Philip Cartland letting me know that after a brief hiatus, his African Aperture site is back up and running. While this site doesn't fall within the parameters I normally blog, Philip's such a talented guy and so devoted to promoting photography, I'm definitely pleased to make an exception for him.
This site's stated objective is: "To bring photography of Africa and in Africa into the world through digital media. To bring together the very best photographers who focus on Africa. And, ultimately, to grow into a sustainable entity in the internet environment."
